Job summary

US Foods in Englewood, CO seeks a Manager, Transportation to lead a safety‑minded team and ensure on‑time outbound shipments. The role manages drivers and clerical staff, coaches performance, and ensures regulatory compliance while driving cost‑efficient operations.

The position requires several years in transportation or warehouse distribution, supervisory experience, and a strong grasp of DOT requirements. Travel is involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution required.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce required.
• Experience as a driver is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to keep drivers, customers, and the public injury-free.
• Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates through coaching and training.
• Direct and supervise work of drivers and clerical staff in the Transportation department.
• Monitor production goals, drive cost-effective solutions, and ensure DOT compliance.
• Schedule shifts and participate in interviewing and hiring transportation personnel.
