Job summary

US Foods in Colorado is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead a safety-first team of drivers and transportation staff, driving cost-efficient and compliant operations across outbound shipments to customers and other distribution centers.

You will coach drivers and Transportation associates, enforce policies, monitor performance, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum 1 year overseeing a workforce.
• Driver experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture within Transportation, ensuring injury-free operations.
• Coach and develop drivers and associates; train on policy, procedures, safety and legal responsibilities.
• Evaluate performance with Sr. Transportation Managers and address gaps with improvement plans.
• Foster upward communication and motivate the team to meet department goals.
• Supervise work and productivity of drivers and clerical staff; drive engagement and retention.
