Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to champion safety initiatives, ensure DOT compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across our transportation operations.

You will mentor drivers, oversee compliance documentation, conduct investigations, and collaborate with management to strengthen safety programs and training, while upholding ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree or relevant experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation safety administration with knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, TMW, and telematics systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Driver coaching and development, mentoring drivers through safety assessments and improvement plans.
• Conduct incident investigations and detailed reporting for accidents, injuries, and safety incidents.
• Promote driver engagement through proactive safety initiatives and incentive programs.
• Administer DOT licensing, examinations, and compliance documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Manage the DOT Drug and Alcohol program and ensure testing compliance.
• Assist in driver hiring, training, onboarding, and road testing to ensure safety policies are followed.
• Represent safety initiatives within the community and liaise with management on safety communications.
• Develop and deliver safety messages, policies, and training materials in collaboration with management.
• Assist in vehicle registrations, permits, and internal/external safety audits.
