Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist on the 2nd shift in Jefferson, GA to oversee the day-to-day activities of Class A CDL drivers, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance with company policy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience is required.
• Transportation or logistics industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers, including attendance and equipment assignments.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company policies; maintain safety practices.
• Monitor driver performance, including on-time pickups, route adherence, and Hours of Service compliance.
• Track KPIs such as load percentage, on-time service, and asset utilization.
• Coordinate capacity planning with engineering to address short- and long-term needs.
• Provide coaching and discipline as needed, and communicate with customers, drivers and leadership.
