Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist on the 2nd shift in Jefferson, GA to oversee the day-to-day activities of Class A CDL drivers, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance with company policy.

The role involves monitoring driver performance, maintaining records, and supporting capacity planning with the engineering team. You will use TMW/McLeod and related systems to track performance, communicate with customers and

Qualifications

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or a related field is required.
Minimum of three years of supervisory experience is required.
Transportation or logistics industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers, including attendance and equipment assignments.
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company policies; maintain safety practices.
Monitor driver performance, including on-time pickups, route adherence, and Hours of Service compliance.
Track KPIs such as load percentage, on-time service, and asset utilization.
Coordinate capacity planning with engineering to address short- and long-term needs.
Provide coaching and discipline as needed, and communicate with customers, drivers and leadership.
