Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to assist the transportation manager/director in overseeing delivery and backhaul activities.

The role includes training and supervising transportation staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting safety within the department. You will supervise daily operations, enforce SOPs, coordinate asset use, and collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve delivery issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2-4 year college degree in business management, supply chain management or similar major preferred.
• Responsibilities include supervising transportation associates and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of transportation associates and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Oversees labor hours and supplies within budget; prepares work schedules.
• Participates in training of new associates and cross-training of current staff.
• Directs use of company assets in support of delivery; coordinates required repairs.
