Qualifications

• Must understand federal and state transportation regulations.
• Experience with SOPs, food safety, and DOT requirements is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train transportation staff and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of transportation staff and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
• Monitors labor hours, budgeted supplies, and productivity reporting.
• Plans work schedules and coordinates deliveries with warehouse and customer service.
• Trains new staff and cross-trains existing staff as needed.
• Directs use of company assets and coordinates repairs as required.
• Communicates policies and maintains associate relations.
