Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. in Honolulu, Hawaii seeks an experienced Transportation Supervisor to support the manager/director in supervising delivery and backhaul activities. The role includes training transportation staff, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and promoting safety across the department.

The position requires coordinating with warehouse and customer service teams, preparing work schedules, and supervising daily operations to maintain efficient delivery performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of transportation experience and/or training.
• Class A CDL is preferred but not required.
• Certificate of DOT regulations training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of transportation associates.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (DOT, OSHA, etc.).
• Prepares work schedules and assigns shifts.
• Assists with training of new associates; cross-training existing staff.
• Directs proper selection and utilization of company assets for delivery.
• Coordinates required repairs with proper departments.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting; suggests improvements.
• Enforces company policies including food safety and DOT regulations.
• Communicates with warehouse and customer service to resolve issues.
• Maintains associate relations and regular pre-shift meetings.
• Supports safety initiatives and incident investigations.
