Job summary

dfa is seeking an experienced Transportation Supervisor to lead drivers at the assigned terminal or distribution center. You will supervise daily operations, create schedules, and ensure safe, efficient service that meets customer requirements.

You will coordinate routing, monitor loads, prepare KPI reports, and collaborate with maintenance, HR, and safety teams. Must have CDL (Class A) and 2–5 years in distribution or transportation leadership, with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL in state required.
• 2–5 years in distribution/logistics/transportation leadership.
• Experience supervising drivers and coordinating schedules.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and activities at terminal/distribution center.
• Create and manage driver schedules.
• Optimize routing to reduce cost and improve service.
• Ensure proper DOT compliance and documentation.
• Prepare operational reports and KPI’s.
• Promote safety and customer service.
• Coordinate with maintenance and HR on issues.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call rotations.
