Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. in Pottsville, PA seeks a Logistics Supervisor to build and maintain driver relationships and support home time, payroll, equipment and safety needs using our operating systems and communications tools.

You will partner with the Dedicated Logistics Manager and other departments to optimize driver loads, align with customer expectations, and ensure timely attendance and reliable service across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–3 years fleet management/transportation experience in truckload.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to use a computer terminal and satellite communications system.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet driver needs via systems and communications.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Interface with billing, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance and vendors.
• Work with the Dedicated Logistics Manager to fill and maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift.
