Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a logistics supervisor to build and maintain driver relationships, optimize loads with the Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers, and ensure service excellence for customers. The role interfaces with billing, safety, payroll, maintenance, and external vendors while maintaining a full board of drivers.

The position emphasizes supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with satellite communications systems and computer terminals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or two to three years of fleet management or transportation experience in truckload preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a computer terminal and satellite communications system.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to address home time, payroll, equipment issues, and other needs.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Align with customer dynamics service expectations to improve value for Customer and Werner.
• Interface with billing, safety, payroll, maintenance, and other departments.
• FIll and maintain a full board of drivers with supervisors.
