Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior transportation analytics leader for a nationwide field role. You will mentor a team, optimize routing and network designs, and drive cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with Legal, Finance, and 3PL partners.

Applicants should have extensive expertise in transportation analytics, network design, and data modeling, with strong skills in Descartes WinRoute, Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau. Travel ~10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling preferred.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes, regulations, warehousing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage transportation network design specialists.
• Identify and assess opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service optimization.
• Optimize routing and location strategies using modeling software.
• Design, implement and maintain routing solutions for cost savings.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analysis.
• Apply statistical analysis, regression modeling, and optimization techniques to improve processes.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and support customer negotiations.
• Develop and operationalize new logistics capabilities with standardized processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales and 3PL carriers.
• Translate analytics outputs into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Ensure network designs are feasible with real-world capabilities.
