Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Transportation to lead a safety-first transportation team at our NH distribution center. The role focuses on people development, coaching drivers, ensuring DOT compliance, and achieving on-time, cost-effective outbound shipments.

You will supervise drivers and clerical staff, schedule shifts, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to uphold service standards while controlling costs. Travel is required up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to keep drivers and the public injury-free.
• Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates through coaching and training.
• Direct supervision of drivers and clerical staff, monitoring performance and conduct.
• Schedule shifts, monitor production goals, and maintain accuracy in outbound shipments.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and drive cost-effective operations.
