Job summary

Consor is seeking a student intern in the civil engineering field for a hybrid role in Walnut Creek, CA. The position supports project research, preliminary design calculations, and documentation delivery under the project manager’s guidance.

You will draft plans using CAD software, assist with cost estimates and specifications, and participate in on-site visits with the design team, gaining broad exposure to infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET accredited university pursuing a BS in civil engineering.
• Completed core civil coursework and taking upper-level courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reports, cost estimates, specs, design calculations, and material quantities.
• Draft working plans and details using CAD/engineering software.
• Analyze maps, charts, diagrams, and layouts for design projects.
• Support construction activities, respond to submittals and RFIs.
• Visit project sites with the design team.
