Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Intern to join our Transportation team in a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least three days a week.

You will collaborate with senior and junior designers on transportation infrastructure projects, including public transit, pedestrian facilities, roadways, bridges, and related structures. The internship supports hands-on drawing and specification preparation with MicroStation/Open Roads Designer, file management, and exposure to STV's

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited civil or structural engineering degree.
• Strong interest in transportation engineering and infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with Open Roads and MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications using MicroStation or Open Roads Designer for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Format reports and specifications to support project documentation.
• Support file management of project electronic documents, including printing and scanning as required.
• Gain practical experience and broad exposure to STV's organizational structure through diverse assignments.
• Utilize company-wide and department-specific software to complete various tasks.
• Engage in specific activities tailored to your assignments, contributing to project success.
