Job summary

Waste Resource Management, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate the daily transportation fleet and schedule drivers and service vehicles for safe, timely service delivery.

You will work with drivers, customers, and the operations team to address service issues, monitor DOT compliance and Hours of Service, and provide real-time solutions to keep operations running smoothly. We offer competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Dispatching experience in waste management or transportation preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics/transportation cert is a plus.
• Experience with Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced).
• Route driving experience encouraged.
• Experience reporting financial information to upper management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers and service vehicles using routing software and communications tools.
• Relay orders and information to drivers, supervisors, and field inspectors.
• Prepare daily routes and work orders in routing software.
• Coordinate with customers and operations to address questions and service requests.
• Monitor driver hours and vehicle utilization to optimize schedules.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety policies are followed.
