Job summary

Horrocks seeks a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on leading transportation structural design for DB/PDB pursuits, coordinating with discipline leads, and delivering projects that meet client goals.

The candidate will direct design and analysis tasks, engage with clients, and drive timely completion while growing professionally within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation structures design.
• 5+ years of leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
