Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team to drive transportation projects in the Mountain West region. You will lead structural teams on DB/PDB pursuits, coordinate with discipline leads, and contribute to project delivery with strong client communication.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years in transportation structures, plus 5+ years in team leadership and 3+ years in DOT DB/PDB experience.

Qualifications

• PE license in preferred states UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation structures design.
• 5+ years leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with standard bridge industry software.
• Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Ability to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.
• Proven history of meeting project deadlines.
• Desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while supporting client goals.
