Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager in Dallas, TX, to head transportation structures design efforts within our Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead structural teams on DB/PDB pursuits, coordinate with other disciplines, and drive projects to successful delivery.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years in transportation structures design, with 5+ years leading teams and 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience.

Qualifications

• PE license required; preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation structures design.
• 5+ years of leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead in a team environment and foster client relations.
• Outstanding client and personnel communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Be an integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Utilize standard bridge industry software tools.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Be available for local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff and management; meet project deadlines.
• Grow professionally by contributing to project goals.
