Job summary

Horrocks, a leading Design-Build practice, seeks a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager to guide transportation structures design for DB and PDB pursuits. You will lead engineering teams, coordinate with disciplines, and deliver plans, analyses and reports to clients across the Rocky Mountain region.

We value experienced leaders with a PE license and a track record in DOT DB/PDB projects, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states: UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
• 10+ years of experience in transportation structures design
• 5+ years of leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive client relationships
• Excellent communication at all levels
• Organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team
• Lead structural design, analysis, studies, plans, specs, and quantity tasks
• Work with standard bridge industry software
• Lead in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with clients
• Be available for local and Rocky Mountain Region projects
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management
• Meet project deadlines
• Grow personally and professionally within project teams
