Job summary

CTL Engineering seeks Inspectors/Technicians to support construction inspection services for NCDOT and local clients in the central North Carolina region. The role involves field and laboratory testing, with opportunities to learn and grow within a cross-disciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in highway inspection, familiarity with specs, and the ability to work independently on projects while coordinating with engineers and project staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing on NCDOT projects.
• Familiarity with highway construction specifications and field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection services for earthwork, concrete, asphalt and utility construction.
• Conduct field and laboratory testing on roadway/bridge projects.
• Inspect and sample construction materials and report findings.
• Prepare project records and daily/weekly reports.
• Coordinate with engineers and Project Manager on site.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
