Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced transportation leader to drive successful Alternative Delivery programs across HDR’s Transportation Business Group. You will report to senior leadership, oversee project approvals, and coordinate with legal, risk, and regional teams to optimize contracting and delivery.

You will manage client relationships, lead teams, and represent HDR in industry associations, travel up to 50% of the time, and help shape the future of mobility infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture is required.
• 10+ years of experience on large transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading teams and managing complex design/build programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Negotiate contract terms in coordination with HDR Legal and Risk.
• Lead collaboration across HDR leadership and regional leads on programs.
• Monitor contractor relationships, proposals, and design subcontracts.
• Engage with industry associations to elevate HDR visibility.
