Job summary

HDR is seeking a Director-Alternative Delivery (Transportation) to lead pursuit and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects within HDR’s Transportation Business Group. You will report to the Project Delivery Program Director and drive approvals in compliance with HDR policy, the Matrix of Authority, and Risk guidance.

You will negotiate contract terms with Legal and Risk, coordinate with Area Leaders, and travel up to 50% while leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams to advance HDR’s

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience including leadership of large transportation projects.
• Experience with Alternative Delivery, design-build or P3 delivery.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects in HDR’s Transportation group.
• Coordinate with Legal, Risk, and client teams to negotiate contract terms.
• Drive approvals per HDR policy and Matrix of Authority; report status to leadership.
