Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead high-voltage transmission and distribution projects, directing multiple crews and ensuring safe, cost-effective delivery from pre-construction through closeout. You will partner with estimators, superintendents, and clients to drive planning, scheduling, and field execution.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of powerline construction experience, thorough knowledge of OSHA codes, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of powerline construction or related project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.
• Complete project execution from pre-construction through closeout.
• Oversee multiple crews and ensure safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.
• Prepare schedules, budgets, and billing packages; monitor progress.
• Lead meetings with owners, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
