Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Transmission Project Coordinator to drive project controls, schedules, and budgets across a cross-functional team of PMs, finance, and engineering. You will support client communications, documentation, and on-boarding of subconsultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI).
• Understanding of cost forecasting, scheduling logic, and risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across teams.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize established project systems including Vantagepoint, PowerBI, IronClad, and Avetta.
• Support AR collections and electronic invoicing.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts; track actual vs. planned spend.
• Develop and monitor project schedules; track progress.
• Develop consolidated monthly/weekly project reports.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, on-boarding docs; maintain version control.
• Ensure project controls standards and templates are followed.
• Support client meetings with minutes and action items.
• Manage subconsultants onboarding, progress, risk, and compliance.
• Collaborate with dept management to implement new policies reflecting best practices.
