Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an entry level Class C Lineman to construct and repair electrical transmission systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as needed.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and related hardware while prioritizing safety and compliance with PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work at multiple out-of-state locations.
• Availability for after-hours, weekends, emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of energized or de-energized transmission systems.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE, and understand insulation precautions on energized lines.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and related equipment.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather and be available for outages.
• Travel to job sites including out-of-state locations.
• Work overtime and on-call rotations.
