Job summary

Pike Corporation seeks an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair electrical transmission systems, often at multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations. You will report to the Foreman and must be prepared for outages, storms and on-call rotations.

Ideal candidates have a CDL, endurance for heights and heavy lifting, and the ability to work outside normal hours. This role requires travel and adherence to strict safety protocols on energized lines.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of transmission line experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems with safety as a priority.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and voltage-induction safety procedures.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
