Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to build and repair electrical transmission systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to multiple job sites, and report to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing overhead lines, climbing structures, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining safety during outages or emergencies. Willingness to work non-standard hours is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outside-of-hours availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair transmission lines (energized and de-energized).
• Climb structures using approved methods.
• Operate line equipment (bucket trucks, derricks, tensioners).
• Work outdoors in varied weather and conditions; respond to outages or emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE and insulation practices.
