Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Class B Lineman to construct and repair transmission systems, including energized lines. You will travel to multiple job sites as needed and report to the Foreman.

This role requires safety-first work on high-voltage infrastructure and operation of bucket trucks and related equipment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of transmission line experience, a CDL, and a willingness to work outages and long-distance trips.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transmission line experience
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work extended hours including weekends/overtime

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized transmission systems with safety first
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors
• Know switching/tagging procedures and EPZ grounding
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks and related line equipment
• Work outdoors in extreme conditions and be available for outages and emergencies
