Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair transmission lines, with travel to various sites as needed. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and report to the Foreman.

The role requires CDL, physical stamina, and willingness to work outside regular hours, including outages or emergencies. Training provided at an entry level with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/pull materials up to 50 lb.
• Open to out-of-state assignments and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of energized/de-energized transmission systems.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles and hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding procedures and EPZ safety rules.
• Climb structures, work at heights and in varied weather conditions.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks and related equipment.
