Pike Electric, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair transmission systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, may travel to out-of-state job sites, and report to the Foreman.

Qualifications

• Two years of transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry and maneuver up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems with safety first.
• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead lines, poles and hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Climb structures of wood, steel or concrete and work at heights near energized equipment.
• Follow switching and tagging procedures and PPE protocols.
• Work outages, storms or emergencies including on-call rotations.
