Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair transmission systems, with responsibilities including working on energized lines, climbing structures, and operating bucket trucks.

The role requires travel to multiple sites as needed, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Applicants should have at least three years of transmission line experience, a valid CDL, and be willing to work outside normal hours and in varying weather conditions.

Formación

• Three (3) years of transmission line experience required.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems while prioritizing safety.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Understand switching, tagging procedures, and grounding concepts for energized/de-energized lines.
• Climb various structures using approved techniques and equipment.
• Work outdoors in various environmental conditions and at heights.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and other transmission equipment.
• Be available for outages, storms, and emergency callouts.
