Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair electrical transmission systems. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may travel to different job sites. You will report to the Foreman.

Essential functions include building and repairing transmission lines, climbing structures, adhering to safety protocols, and operating heavy equipment. CDL is required, willingness to travel, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb and work on tall structures.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to travel to different job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair transmission systems.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines and associated hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, and EPZ-grounding procedures.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights.
• Participate in outages, storms, and emergency callouts.
• Operate transmission line equipment and maintain it.
