Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks a Transmission Line Project Manager to join our national Power Delivery team. You will manage projects of varying sizes, work with design teams, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to deliver quality engineering services.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensure schedule and budget adherence, and engage in business development activities as needed across multiple offices and regions. HDR values employee ownership and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transmission line projects from initiation to closeout.
• Lead project teams including Engineers, EITs, Coordinators, Designers and staff.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and QA/QC per HDR standards.
• Coordinate public engagement, permitting, and right-of-way activities as needed.
• Support client management and contribute to proposals and business development.
