Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to lead engineering projects of varying size and complexity within a global Power Delivery practice. Opportunities exist in multiple locations, including Portland and other western states.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and team performance, while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring QA/QC compliance. A strong PM background and engineering credentialing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
• FE, PE license preferred, PMP in lieu of PE.
• A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• Strong interaction with design teams and excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transmission line projects end-to-end, including scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead project engineers, EITs, coordinators, designers and drafters; mentor where needed.
• Oversee QA/QC processes per HDR’s Quality Management Systems.
• Support marketing and proposal development for new opportunities in the region.
• Coordinate with area leadership and Talent Acquisition to grow the practice.
