Job summary

HDR Engineering in Phoenix is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager/Team Lead to join our Power Delivery program. You will lead high voltage transmission projects, guide a local team of engineers, and manage scope, schedule, and budget across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include client management, staff supervision, QA/QC, and collaborating with marketing and leadership to grow transmission opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with various design teams; excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of high voltage transmission line projects from scope/proposal to closeout and QA/QC, including schedule and budget management.
• Supervise and grow a local team; coordinate with staff across the company for project delivery and business development.
• Direct supervision over a team of engineers and designers; lead client management and project execution.
• Apply project management tools and techniques across the lifecycle, including scope, risk, communications, and change management.
• Mentor and supervise PMs, Project Engineers, EITs, CAD/Designers, and admin staff.
