Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to lead and deliver transmission line projects nationwide. You will work with design teams to execute projects, manage budgets and schedules, and participate in business development with regional clients.

You will mentor staff, oversee cross-office collaboration, and represent HDR in marketing and proposal development for new opportunities in the Power Delivery practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead transmission line projects end-to-end.
• Mentor and supervise Project Engineers, EITs, and designers.
• Oversee workload, schedule, quality, and budget for projects.
• Coordinate non-engineering aspects: permitting, right of way, and construction management.
• Lead QA/QC per HDR Quality Management Systems.
