Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to join our expanding Power Delivery practice. You will manage transmission line projects of varying sizes, domestically and possibly abroad, collaborating with design teams to execute complex initiatives.

Ideal candidates possess a civil or mechanical engineering background, 2+ years of PM experience, and strong communication skills. Locations include Seattle, Spokane, Portland, and nearby markets with HDR's employee-owned culture and robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related field.
• FE/PE license preferred; PMP may be substituted for PE.
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transmission line projects from scope to closeout.
• Mentor project engineers and staff; oversee workload and schedules.
• Oversee non-engineering aspects such as permitting, right of way, and engagement.
• Coordinate with leadership to hire and grow a project delivery team.
• Support marketing and proposal development for new opportunities.
