Leidos is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team in Orlando, FL, focusing on EHV overhead and underground systems for major utilities. You will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI and other applicable standards, and prepare bidding documents, draft plans, and material procurement and construction documents.

The role involves collaboration with clients and project teams, with possible travel and a hybrid schedule in the Orlando area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant transmission design experience.
• Experience with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical transmission lines and perform engineering analyses.
• Prepare bidding documents, and draft plans and specifications.
• Develop material procurement and construction documents.
• Interface with clients and project teams across locations.
