United Grid Solutions is seeking a transmission line engineer to design, analyze, and support projects in power delivery. You will provide technical direction on complex engineering problems, create line drawing packages, and help manage project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications include a BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 2+ years in electric utility transmission line design, with knowledge of high-voltage standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years of electrical utility transmission line design experience at 69kV or higher.
• Knowledge of transmission line design packages and BOM.
• Familiarity with ASCE, ACI, IEEE standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering expertise and guidance in solving problems.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Interact with customers’ engineers and maintain relationships.
• Support proposal development and cost estimating.
• Lead discipline work for projects and manage schedules.
