Job summary

United Grid Solutions is seeking a transmission engineering professional to lead design, analysis, and technical support for transmission lines and renewable interconnections. You will guide a team, manage schedules and budgets, and contribute to proposals and cost estimates.

Required a BS in Engineering, ABET-accredited, 2–3 years in electrical utility transmission line design (69kV+), familiarity with NEC/IEEE, and ability to work with clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years in electrical utility transmission line design.
• Knowledge of 69kV+ transmission line design and related components.
• Familiarity with codes/standards like NEC, IEEE, ASCE.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise and guidance on problem resolution.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Produce technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Monitor deliverables and present solutions to the client.
• Assist the Project Manager with proposals and cost estimating.
• Develop and lead discipline work for projects over time.
