Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Texas seeks a Groundman to support Foremen in building and maintaining our power grid. You will perform physical labor outdoors, assist with installing and repairing lines and related hardware, and report to the Foreman on site.

This entry-level position emphasizes safety and teamwork. You will lift heavy tools, operate in varying weather, and participate in outages and emergency callouts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance and repair of power lines and related hardware.
• Work under supervision of Foreman and follow safety protocols.
• Perform heavy labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Assist in equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotation.
