HDR is seeking a national Transmission EPC Principal within our Power Delivery Practice to lead pursuit and execution efforts across multiple locations. This role focuses on technical bid development, risk analysis, and transitioning pursuits to project teams, with collaboration across HDR and partner organizations.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, 10+ years in transmission design, and hands-on experience leading EPC programs, including FEED, design and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License preferred or required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transmission design.
• Experience leading EPC project teams and engineering scopes.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, MFAD and LPILE.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and lead cross‑functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Pursuit Champion / Manager on Transmission EPC projects.
• Transition awarded projects to Project Manager and execution teams.
• Lead scope, schedule and budget development for AD projects, coordinating with partners.
• Provide risk analysis, VE suggestions, and constructability inputs.
• Develop templates, standards, and best practices for EPC pursuits and projects.
• Mentor and develop project managers and engineering staff.
