Job summary

HDR is seeking a national Transmission EPC Principal within our Power Delivery Practice to lead and integrate efforts across pursuit, design, and construction within Alternative Delivery models. The role focuses on managing technical bid development, estimating, and transitioning opportunities from pursuit to execution while coordinating with multiple HDR teams and partners across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering License is preferred.
• PMI/PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pursuit Champion/Manager on Transmission EPC projects and transition to Project Manager post-award.
• Facilitate technical risk analysis, routing, and BOM takeoff support with HDR leads and partners.
• Lead scope, schedule, and budget development for AD projects including procurement and construction support.
• Interface with contractors and subconsultants to drive risk identification and mitigation.
• Develop front-end engineering and design templates and standards for EPC pursuits and projects.
