Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 7+ years' experience in Power Transmission design with prior supervisor experience.
• PE Licensure.
• Experience leading an engineering team with resource management and task delegation.
• Ability to provide clear direction on project assignments of varying complexity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to various locations to meet clients and support projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the Transmission Line design staff and operations.
• Balance resources and forecast across clients and projects.
• Mentor and develop supervisory staff and principal engineers.
• Guide professional communication with stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiencies, quality, and marketing opportunities.
• Evaluate performance and development of staff.
• Collaborate with Division Leadership to implement new policies reflecting best practices.
• Collaborate to develop new client opportunities and capture market share.
• Collaborate with other departments on company-wide initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and pursue new opportunities.
