Westwood Professional Services, Inc. invites a Director of Transmission Engineering to lead a regional segment of the Transmission Engineering group. You will supervise engineers, designers, and managers, drive business growth, and prepare proposals and estimates for clients.

The role requires ensuring compliance with client procedures, design standards, and safety codes, while partnering with Division leaders to expand geographic footprint and client base across transmission projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• LICENSURE: PE licensure is required.
• Minimum 7+ years of power transmission design experience with prior supervisory responsibility.
• Ability to lead an engineering team and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Direct day-to-day operations of the Transmission Line design staff and operations.
• Balance resources and forecast across multiple clients and projects.
• Mentor and develop supervisory staff and principal engineers.
• Provide guidance for professional communication with stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiencies, quality, and market opportunities.
• Collaborate with Division Leadership to develop policies and pursue new client opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and pursue future opportunities.
