Job summary

Ameren Transmission is seeking an Engineering and Construction Supervisor to oversee vendor-based construction of electric transmission lines and substations, and to manage maintenance of existing facilities. The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5+ years in transmission/PM, and strong leadership.

Overnight travel may be required; office and field work during normal hours with safety and schedule control responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• PE license, PMP CCM CPC preferred.
• 5+ years of transmission, distribution or project management experience.
• Supervisory or contractor leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite field management and coordination for electric Transmission projects.
• Work independently in performing all aspects of construction management.
• Initiate and evaluate jobsite safety and quality control procedures and audits.
• Maintain daily surveillance of construction activities and convey specifications to contractors.
• Facilitate progress meetings and document updates on safety, quality, schedule and budget.
• Provide constructability input in planning specs, schedules and outages.
• Assist with development of critical path schedules and site preparation.
• Administer WPA, OSHA and environmental regulations and Ameren procedures.
• Provide public relations and liaison between parties for construction work.
