Job summary

Ameren Transmission seeks a Contractor Services Supervisor to oversee vendor crews on transmission line and substation projects. You will ensure adherence to Ameren policies, safety rules, and contract terms while directing planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

The role requires a strong background in engineering/construction management, 5+ years in electric transmission or heavy industry, and supervisory experience, with a focus on cost control and safe execution.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in electric transmission or heavy industry; supervisory experience.
• Journeyman line or substation experience preferred. Utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project planning and design.
• Manage and evaluate contractor crews engaged in construction, maintenance and inspection of electric facilities.
• Set clear expectations for performance and safety through observations and audits.
• Schedule and direct work safely and efficiently within contract terms.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors and other departments; monitor budgets and timelines.
