Job summary

Ameren Transmission is seeking a Contractor Services Supervisor to oversee vendor crews responsible for transmission line and substation work. You will enforce safety rules, manage budgets, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in electric transmission or related fields and a supervisory background. Overnight travel may be required; college degree preferred in engineering or construction management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering or construction management.
• Five+ years in electric transmission or electric distribution; or five+ years in heavy industrial/military with 3+ years in leadership.
• Journeyman line or journeyman substation experience preferred.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office; project schedules; ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project planning and design.
• Lead contractor crews in construction, maintenance and inspection of electric facilities.
• Set clear safety and quality expectations; conduct observations and audits.
• Schedule and direct work safely and efficiently per contracts.
• Monitor budgets and schedules; manage resources and timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, stakeholders and other departments.
