Job summary

Ameren is seeking an Engineering and Construction Supervisor (Transmission) to oversee vendor construction of electric transmission lines and substations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple projects.

The role requires a BS in engineering, a Professional Engineer license, PMP/CCM/CPC preferred, and at least five years of transmission or project management experience, with supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; PE license and PMP/CCM/CPC preferred.
• Five or more years of transmission, distribution or project management experience required.
• Supervisory or contractor leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite field management and coordination for electric Transmission projects.
• Interpret and convey specifications to contractors; ensure safety and quality.
• Lead progress meetings; manage safety, schedule, scope and budget.
• Develop critical path schedules and assist with project planning.
• Ensure compliance with WPA, OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Serve as liaison with stakeholders and public relations as needed.
