MT Group Bio is seeking a Business Development Manager to own and grow relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and diagnostic companies across Northern California with a primary focus on the Bay Area.

This role requires scientific literacy, ability to discuss study design and sample feasibility, and a track record of remote collaboration. You will build pipelines, draft feasibility assessments, and coordinate with operations to ensure successful projects.

Competenze

• Deep existing relationships with Northern California pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
• Background in biological research; familiarity with study design and sample needs.
• Solid understanding of translational research and biomarkers.
• Ability to write feasibilities, set pricing, and manage project specifics.
• Proven track record of success working remotely with minimal supervision.
• Genuine curiosity about science and strong written communication skills.
• Experience in biospecimen sales is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain relationships with translational scientists, biomarker leads, and procurement teams in Northern California.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective collection opportunities in oncology, immunology, and other areas.
• Draft and deliver feasibility assessments reflecting real operational capabilities and timelines.
• Develop pricing and quotes in collaboration with leadership.
• Track project progress and communicate with customers throughout the collection lifecycle.
• Coordinate with operations and business development to ensure successful project execution.
• Travel regularly to customer sites for face-to-face meetings.
